Very nice beer
Bought 2 kegs of the RA Pale Ale, exactly what I was hoping for. I love the American Pale Ale style of ale but often find that they're up around 6 or 7 percent, possibly even more, that's way too strong for me. The Frome beer, at 4.1% is a great session ale and it goes down smooooth. Hoppy, zesty & tasty, I will definitely be ordering more, probably in cans though, as the mini keg is a pain in the arse, pours at a dribble, and is a nightmare to get the last pint or two out of. Won't put me off though! I think I've found my new favourite beer.
Fresh, fruity and a must have in the fridge! Faulty keg meant it lost its fizz pretty quick but the brewery replaced without question. Customer service like nowhere before!
Had a mini keg and followed the instructions about opening. First few pints were great, very flavoursome and with a good head. After that the carbonation stopped, beer was flat and flavour dissipated. To give the brewery their due it was replaced free of charge, but same again. If mini kegs from all breweries is like this I probably won’t get another one!
In old times, I would go to the pub and enjoy guest ale’s. Normally the paler the better for me.
So I gambled on a small keg of American Pale Ale from Frome. I couldn’t have been happier and have already received two more kegs and using the friends discount, had my son delivered a keg of the Australian Pale Ale - which I understand is going down well.
At this price structure I am prepared to continue ordering and as delivery is 3 to 4 days, I shouldn’t run out for long. I highly recommend the American Pale Ale and look forward to sampling others!
Have to say this was some of the nicest beer I've ever tasted. And I've tasted a lot! Excellent gift from my lovely wife who usually complains I'm hard to buy for.
Over the moon with my beer. Can't say enough good things about Frome Brewing - delivery was excellent and the beer is top notch.
So glad I found you guys. My gift list is suddenly really easy to complete because the kegs are as good as it gets. It's a rave review from me!
There's something really lovely about getting beer straight from your small brewery. And it goes down a treat! We love trying the specials and look forward to seeing what you come up with next.
